Offering Artisan skills to PDI
The Job shop project has been developed to assist: • Up-skilling of semi-skilled HDI’s in the scares & critical artisanal trade sectors making them employable in South Africa. • Skills transfers and capacity building. • Significant contribution to the decreasing of the unemployment rate. • Community and local economic development. • The Jobshop has partnered with Math Centre to support out-of-school youths to advance their mathematics and science skills. • Empowering people with disabilities – Our aim is to train ten disabled people in the next artisan training programme. • 10 abled bodies learners and ten people with disabilities; totalling 20 learners.
