Sesego takes food security into the classroom

The importance and relationship we have with food is one of the topics Sesego Foundation discussed with our communities in Mathibestad. It is essential that everyone has access to food and water to survive but healthy food will not only have a physical but also economical impact in our learners and their performance at school. Kids at local schools engaged and started to plant their own vegies around the school. These are fantastic activities to teach pupils about digestion, diets, genetically modified foods and much more. There are many advantages to use tunnels to grow and cultivate your plants. It provides early growth and increased crop yields. It also reduces insect and disease damaged as well as using less water.
