Did you know? Part 1
Over the next few weeks, we will provide you with a list of benefits that the friends and partners of Loving Thy Neighbour can enjoy.
The first benefit that we will look at is the Collection Management System.
What is a collection?
A collection is a recurring donation that is automatically collected on the date that the donor chooses on the electronic mandate form that they completed once they decided to make the donation. This is automated and makes it easy for the organisation to manage, as you will be able to access the Collection Management System on the LTN back-end of the platform.
You will be able to log in on your organisation profile and under your Financial tab be able to view all Collections that have come in for your organisation. The date, time, contact details of the donor, the amount, and the transaction status will be specified in the break-down of the line item. If the donor chose to stay anonymous the contact details will not be disclosed (as stipulated by the data privacy law).
The organisation will be able to export the complete collection form into an Excel spreadsheet with all the line items included, that is reconcilable on your bookkeeping system. At any given time, you will be able to log in and edit your Collection list, you will be able to archive and cancel a donor if they wish to cancel their donation. You can then go back into your Archive folder if you need to reinstate the collection to be active again. If the donor has a change of bank or physical address, you will be able to edit that and save it on the system, that keeps all data from day one of use.
The best part of the Collection Management System is the fact that it is FREE to the organisations that have been vetted and registered successfully on the LTN platform. The only cost involved is the bank fees, that is at a fixed reduced rate of R6,50 per transaction and a further R3,50 for an unsuccessful transaction (if there are any).
If you would like to reap the rewards of this amazing platform, click on REGISTER and register as a RECEIVER organisation.
