Welcome, Rotary International District 9400

Welcome Rotary International District 9400 NPC!

Rotary started in February 1905, in Chicago. Today, Rotary holds the highest consultative status offered to a nongovernmental organization by the UN’s Economic and Social Council, which oversees many specialized UN agencies.

Rotary District 9400 was formed 10 years ago when Districts 9250 and 9300 amalgamated into D9400. The District oversees 77 Clubs in 4 countries (South Africa: 4 Northern Provinces, Botswana, Southern Mozambique, and eSwatini) with a membership count of 1,265. The District and Clubs are doing joint projects in health and basic education with the SA Government. We also have signed MOU's with the Universities of Johannesburg (UJ) and South Africa (UNISA) focusing on assisting post-grad Students.

Each club is involved in numerous projects ranging from Health through growing local economies. Our motto is Service Above Self.
